Today’s One Good Thing was being warmly welcomed into my new workplace. There’s a lot for me to learn – statutes, ordinances, new computer systems and software – but everyone is convinced that I can do it and that I’m the right fit for this part of making Gaffney better. So who am I to contradict them? 🤷
I plan to try to learn something new about the town every day. Today, I took a short walk after lunch (note – take sunscreen and walking shoes to the office!) and found this perfect gem to mark my first day at a job that relies heavily on maps and road classifications.
