Taking time to paint without getting all precious about getting it “right” and just enjoying the way watercolor does its thing.
This also makes me want window boxes . . .

Thought of you this weekend when we visited the NC arboretum—my favorite watercolorist Rosalie Hazelett (from WV!) has an exhibit there. I hope you get to see it!
