Several Good Things

In the heart of vacation-and-reunion, I wanted to stop to mention four Very Good Things.

Cards Against Humanity. Played with a group of friends who have known me since before I had wisdom teeth, this game is raunchy, blasphemous, and side-splittingly funny. Plus, it’s the only game where I’ve ever thought, “There’s no way I can win this. These cards are too polite.”

The sheer beauty of Montana. It’s breathtaking. And tomorrow, we head to Glacier National Park.

Telling the people you love that you love them. Often. Even if you’re sure they know it. Tell them.

Being asked to braid my youngest niece-by-affinity’s long, long hair. It was on a moving boat, so it was a royal mess, but I wouldn’t trade the opportunity for a gold monkey.

There’s a place set for you at the table, Divas. Claim your seat.
