I continue to learn new things about the town where I work. For example, after work ended today, I met with a friend who knows an awful lot of what is going on downtown. We visited a few shops and I got to meet and listen to some of the owners.
There really are some cool places in that downtown! Of especial interest to me is a bright, cheerful plant store called Hector’s Garden. Behind an unassuming, plain door in the back of the shop is an incredible Zen space. (Tap the picture to see the whole fountain in this room – it takes up the entire back wall!) It’s not quite done, but you can see where it’s headed – and the space will be spectacular!
