My first foray growing houseplants from cuttings was successful to the point that I have Wandering Dude cuttings to give away!
I trimmed my Dude and let the cuttings root in water for two weeks, but I’m told that this plant wants to thrive so much that you can just stick a cutting into good potting soil and it’ll probably figure out how to survive. Honestly, it’s an easy, friendly plant for the non-gardener.
I teamed up with Box Turtle Books here in town and those cuttings will be available for pick-up (first come, first served!) tomorrow as part of Independent Bookstore Day. Maybe get a gardening book while you’re there. Then go home, place your cutting in bright, indirect light, watch The Big Lebowski and enjoy a beverage.
