Whew! With a lot of work and a great deal of encouragement, I made it to the 100 Day mark! That’s right – 100 paintings in 100 days. This is my final batch, which is Day 92 through yesterday, which was Day 100. I must say, I’m quite pleased to see so much progress and I am living proof that it’s all about consistent effort. Maybe some artists are just born with it, maybe it’s Maybelline for others, but for me, these deep dives provide me with the living proof that my eye is getting sharper and my techniques (sketching, brush control, color mixing, and so on) are progressing.
And I hope they continue to do so!
My next step will be to take a day to just marvel as the difference between Day 1 and Day 100. Then I’ll work to put together a sale. I love my little postcard paintings, but I do NOT need 80 or them! (That’s an estimate – I think about 20 of my hundred are larger sized.) I’ll sell the postcards for $5 each; the larger ones I’ll have to price, but I’ll keep everything at no more than $50, provided you take it unframed.
Enough about that – details will come later.
Here’s the final gallery! And thank you for being here with me throughout this journey!
