One Good Thing

Sometimes there’s so much to do that the only sensible course of action is to ignore all of it and find a few small pleasures.

Here are three.

The zinnias by the front steps are the talk of the pollinator world.

I took a final look at that beautiful puzzle then joyfully tore it up to return it to the box.

And I quick sketched a flower-stuffed handbag.

A good end to July, I’d say!
